First dinner on the new balcony. Check!
My parents came over today to see the new flat (my mum has seen it once before though but then it was empty and we hadn't moved in yet) and spend a few hours with us. The weather has been gorgeous all week but today was probably the best day, including a very warm evening (and warm morning; breakfast was also had on the balcony). As all Swedes know, even summer evenings often get a bit cool, but tonight we didn't have to wrap up and after our guests left (and Peter had left to go to a party), I sat on the balcony for another couple of hours uploading photos from our various camera (with the baby radio monitoring Isolde sleeping at the other end of the flat).
I tried adding apple to Isolde's oat cereal yesterday and today and it seems to do the trick! She was even trying to eat by herself today when grandma fed her.
Us adults also tried something new today - yellow water melon (image borrowed from Tre tjejer i köket)! I hadn't seen or even heard of it before. I'm not sure what the difference is (and whether it's something natural or cultivated*?) but I think it tasted a bit sweeter. Will definitely by it again.
* Well, most things these days are cultivated but was it cultivated 500 years or one year ago?
Hur underbart är det inte att äta utomhus! Allt smakar mycket bättre.
